Paul is a Chartered Building Surveyor with in excess of 27 years’ experience within the profession extensively within the commercial sector. Paul started his career in Birmingham working for a number of corporate real estate firms, including Lambert Smith Hampton and BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Having jointly founded Solace with David Macnamara we have developed Solace Building Consultancy in to a niche practice. Following the success of Solace Building Consultancy in 2011, Paul and David have expanded the business by creating Solace Property Consultancy.

Paul is keen to develop personal relationships with new and existing clients, with client focus as the main emphasis of the business.

As a practicing Chartered Building Surveyor Paul has been instrumental in a number of major projects, including significant structural and refurbishment works, alterations and extensions to a variety of building types.

Paul is experienced in many types of surveys ranging from comprehensive building acquisition surveys for a multitude of structures, to the design, specification and procurement of schemes including scheduling of dilapidations, together with planned maintenance schemes and Disability Audits working within both the public and private sector. He has developed a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the requirements and operations within the various disciplines. The most recent experience has been in the Pension Fund Sector where we have been involved in the procurement and refurbishing of existing building stock quickly and efficiently thus ensuring that the buildings can be re let and earning an income at the earliest opportunity.
