Simon is a Chartered Surveyor with some 41 years’ experience in the profession. After an initial period working in London’s Midtown and West End markets, Simon relocated to Birmingham to open a Midlands office for Atisreal (now BNP Paribas Real Estate) in the early 1990’s.

At various stages Simon has specialised in Valuation, Fund Management, Lease Advisory, Industrial & Logistics Agency, and Corporate Real Estate.

For the past 25 years or so, Simon has concentrated on the provision of services to corporate clients as an account manager, practitioner, and a national head of delivery. In these roles he has led teams that help corporate occupiers, both large and small, achieve their business objectives by making best use of their property, matching their property portfolios to changing business needs and minimising operating costs.

In 2012 Simon left BNP Paribas Real Estate to work in a smaller environment and provide a more personalised and bespoke service to clients. He believes that whilst there is a large degree of commonality in the real estate issues facing occupiers, a one size fits all solution is unsatisfactory. The constraints within which each organisation operates and the order of priorities are different.

This demands a more personalised approach. Understanding the client’s property requirements demands an understanding of its business and attitude to risk. Being able to articulate this is essential to sound real estate advice.
